Ok we all know how Star Wars prices go crazy but even Instruction prices are now going insane, case in point I just listed a set of instructions for set 7662 Trade Federation MTT (2nd. version of this set design) in my store for $40 this is $10 cheaper then the next lowest price, and this set was only just out in stores a few years ago.

Does anybody see the idocy of this?

There's idiocy in a lot of the Bricklink prices.

People find something popular or uncommon, put it on the pedestal and slap a high price on it as if it's justified.

The whole funny thing about this is, this set I bought at Toys R Us as their Black Friday set a couple years ago parted out the parts and put the instructions in my cabinet, came accorss the instructions today and thought I'd see how much they were, let me tell you I was shocked when the cheapest price listed was $50 which was almost the price I paid for this set a couple years ago.

because people like the feel of the actual instructions in their hands to look thru, me i'm not abig fan of reading instructions on the computer myself, also others want the instructions to complete sets I guess.

Also I just checked, someone paid over $35 just for the box for this set.

and the last instructions sold was for a used set and over $48.

This.

It isn't new for BrickLink either. It's been going on for years.

2 years ago, I sold 3 or 4 old SW instructions on eBay and got $80.00 from it. Of course, you can always download a PDF from the Lego website crazy people... ;9

Do you know how annoying it is to look at instructions on a computer while building? Flipping pages is easier than scrolling. And printing wastes paper. :P

This has been dead for a few weeks, BUT I've been away so I'm going to be commenting on some old topics. I bought a star destroyer off eBay for $25 but there were NO instructions, so I had to use a PDF and I hated every second of it. It took a while to complete the build too, not that I'm super fast at building with real instructions... but it took longer then it should have... which kinda sucked some of the fun out... because I was too tired to play with it after :(
