Don't know if any of you are into papercraft, but the awesome papercraft artist Ninjatoes has made up one of the very first LEGO pirate, Captain Redbeard:

You can download it here: http://members.home.nl/saarloos/index.htm, just click on the 'LEGO' logo.

I haven't gotten a chance to build it yet, but he looks awesome.

This looks like it requires a lot of patience and paper. Great find!

Now, the REAL question is, is it possible to be put together like a real minifig? If so, EPIC. :o&

Yeah, see the bottom picture for an example; they go together like actual LEGOs. :D

Papercraft can be REALLY tricky but it is A LOT of fun too! I started making a full set of Ironman armor last year and had to put the project on hold because I ran out of space :/

You can also look into Pepakura maker and files for all kinds of Papercraft items.

:P I've done like four 'involved' models; one of Fierce Deity Link, one of the Graveyard from Warcraft, one of Phanphy (a Pokemon) for my brother. I've got '3D Paper Mario' printed out and ready to assemble. After I finish that, I'll be building the Kapitien.
