@Napo - commented on your MOC and left a link about light boxes.

I posted my 1st hero in my super hero project after the first 9 being villains. MC got to see the torso decal design months ago and I'm really happier on how he turned out. It's better than I expected. I'm starting to get behind in my project as I have some more photoed, but don't have suitable names or back stories yet.

Went to a funeral yesterday for my wifes great uncle that was 82. I don't think I can express in words how hilarious I found it that the pastor light-heartedly called all her distant family "dirty inbreds" without actually saying that. |D It sounds horrible I know, but trust me on the one.

Picked up 6 series 11 CMF's yesterday. I got the Gingerbread man, Yeti, Christmas Elf, Barbarian, Scarecrow, and girl scientist. They were very easy to figure out what was in in the packs. I would have bought more if I had the money.

@QBlade: nice on the new minfigs!

Today: high 64, rain, and freezing tonight ... pulling out the UnderArmour ...

Working on photos this week for my site, and hopefully will have time to work more on my Destiny Warlock.
Thinking about opening a 'shop' in Etsy, anyone know anyone who's used it before? I know two people who sell there (1-jewelry; 1-fabric).

Oh man. Home grown tomatoes are just so good.

I'm not a big tomato person, but compared to store bought tomatoes home grown ones are amazing.

And Happy Birthday MC! I missed the topic, I've been busy for the past few days...

I relatively sure that the rampant tomato hate is because kids are always introduced to store bought. I was raised on home grown, but all my friends grew up eating store bought and they hate tomatoes.

I'm sure there is truth to that about many foods.

@K97: Thanks!!

While admittedly part of my hate of tomatoes is due to the way they taste, most of the reason I refuse to eat them is the texture and the way they look when you cut them open. It just seems like they aren't finished becoming whole. Or worse yet, they have started to rot from the inside out.

Kind of like fresh salsa vs store-bought. The freshly made stuff always tastes better.
