I'll certainly admit that PCs have lots of advantages, but consoles have a lot going for them too. I hear building games is easier for consoles than PCs, plus consoles are a lot cheaper and tend to last longer. Well, usualy, some people don't upgrade their PCs for 10 years. I can't believe it ppossible to go back 10 years and have it be 2002.

The wild Oreo appears to have been caught **shake, shake, pop** But it got free! @$#% Poke-Ball!

Congratulations, QB :)

WHOOO, Pay check, oh, wait, over an eighth of my money was taken by the government.

I've been doing a little work on my BF Galaxies character, companion, and planet. So far, I've got a working back story for Marshall Silas Brokenridge, a concept for his battlefield reporter companion, and a rough planet concept.

@Consoles vs PCs: I like both, PCs have better strategy games like StarCraft and Wesnoth, but consoles have better shooters and RPGs like Halo: ODST, Zelda, and Final Fantasy.

I've started writing the home-world portion for the BF Galaxies challenge... It is turning into a rather long, detailed history of the race of my character. I may be cutting it down or creating a cliffs notes version, removing the history and leaving the basic facts regarding the planet and it's inhabitants.

Also, not only have I created my main and companion characters, I'm also slowly piecing together background characters that may show up. While I may be going somewhat crazy with all this, I'm quite glad I have a new creative outlet utilizing my favorite medium. I had once considered creating a LEGO webcomic but I have no skill with photo editing software. I know I've said this again, but thanks a lot to the minds behind the Galaxies idea.

It's okay, I picked up a small map program this morning ... yup, gotta have my maps for my planet - archeology sites - and whatever else comes up in my BF Galaxies dreaming.
I also have some story 'fleshing out' to do, I only have the basics so far.
:o)

(and no, it wasn't a planned penny drop ... but it'll be worth it)

@SMarine: Super, can't wait to see him and such!

MAPS! How did I not think of maps!?! Um...care to share what program this is?
Also, I realized that if I just write out all of the thoughts and details that come into my head, I can just create a cohesive story. From that, I can trim it down and make a more quick facts version that will complete the challenge and not be a wall of text that no one will read.

I made a map for mine a few days ago. :D

EDIT: My pompadour is growing in nicely. It looks a lot like the guy on the left here, from a German rock group.

It' pretty epic, but man, it is a pain to keep in place.

You know, as much as I hate the Flood, I'm kinda hoping they come back I Halo 4. I just hope they come back like the were in Halo:CE and 2, where they could use the rocket launcher (CE) and hijack/use vehicle. (2) In Halo 3 they seemed toned down, I think it was because they used pure forms so much.

@S133: hehehe, I'm sure they aren't 'finished' yet ... I'm starting to get excited about the Halo4 now, just hope its as good as it 'should' be.

@Machetero: it's not a free one, but it's perfect and will enable me to put aside my OCD issues in drawing out my own maps by hand.
