He was also repeating "Those chickens are sooooooooo trippy man" to my dad in between laughter.

Your argument for him being high is growing considerably stronger.

I am also high at the moment. On dark chocolate. :|~

I have almost 400 dollars right now. :D Not bad for me, a person who is hoarding expensive Star Wars stuff at the moment (I buy something everytime I go to a store that sells SW, usually)

There's this WWII air raid marshal helmet at the flea market right now. I wantz.

I was at the flea market today, and for 5 dollars I bought an old Cold War West German field jacket. And it had "Kohler" stamped on the collar. That's MY name! :|~

And I bought the following unopened Star Wars action figures for six dollars each:

Rum Sleg
Imperial Scanning Crewman
Saleucami Clone Trooper
AT-AT Driver
Imperial Spacetrooper

I was shocked when I took the helmet off the Spacetrooper (Stormtrooper with different gear, basically), and it appears to be female. Really surprising and different.

There were female Stormies in the Expanded Universe, but, the ones at conventions have way nicer armor..... ;) But in all seriousness, I'd say the guy just appears to have a longer haircut, they don't have hair-length standards in the Stormtrooper Corps, it just has to fit in the helmet.

@MC: Recreation is good.

I posted this on another forum I frequent but was wondering if you guys have any ideas:

My brother will be turning 16 in a couple of weeks. Normally I give him a drawing I've done based off of a little questionnaire I give him, resulting in a random but totally awesome fantasy character [there have been gnome wizards and dwarf fighters, etc]. I kind of want to mix it up this year though, and have him actually be surprised by it. Still in the general vein of 'doesn't cost me anything' - so art of some sort is the most likely. I'm up for suggestions, though [why else would I have made the topic?]

He's an avid Magic: The Gathering player, likes Lego, general fantasy stuff, tanks, aircraft, most things to do with World War II (plays Axis & Allies)... He likes elephants [I've made him a papercraft Phanphy in the past].

At the moment I'm leaning toward a big version of his favorite MTG card art. I've been sketching them lately, though, so it wouldn't be much of a surprise. Plus, I'd have to ask him what it is.

Any suggestions or comments would be really helpful! Thanks!

btw he doesn't have a favorite MTG card. go figure.

Oh, thanks for bursting my bubble. "O mai goshez femtrooper heck YUS." :9 I guess it's just a guy with a thin face and a wimpy bang in the front. Lol. Have you seen this figure? You seem familiar with it.

Maybe get a really big sheet of paper and do him a fake WWII movie poster in a retro style. IMO, that'd be an awesome idea. As a 16 year-old, I can tell you I'd love that.

Hope I helped!

That is an amazing plan! And I just happen to have some poster board sitting in my room... Probably going to do a recruitment style poster with a tank on it... I just don't remember what his favorite is...
