Thanks SMarine, and everyone. I really appreciate!!

My dad had double pneumonia, and he passed away on Monday. The hospital staff was really great, treated him and my family super wonderfully.
Life is crazy sometimes ... today is Dad's 76th birthday. They had planned a big party to celebrate, but it works out okay because they're having the party and remembering what a great, crazy, and amazing craftsman he was.
He's the one who helped me fall in love with miniature and dioramas :o)

Thanks again everyone. This forum is filled with so many great people,

mC

It's always been my belief that a party to remember and celebrate the life of the person who has passed is an important and helpful part of the process. Very sorry to hear about your loss.

My thoughts and prayers go out to You and your Family. We did the same thing for my Brother when he passed away, the party helped alot with the whole grieving process.

*raises hand* I, too, am very, very sorry for your loss. Sounds like a great guy. At least he had a long and productive life and can be fondly remembered.
