Hello everyone, I am new here..
I have been a Lego head for years... i have 3 big tubs of Legos from every set i ever received or purchased spanning back 30+ years... I have been quite interested in learning how people go about making up these custom minifigs... I've seen some other sites where they make custom minifigs and case a lot of their own accessories... do most people here buy accessories from other places or do they cast their own... if they do cast their own how do you do that and what kinds of equipment is needed??

I think its safe to say that most of the customs here are combinations ... using items from Brickforge and others that make accessories - but also designing by putting together the actual pieces needed for the minfigs.
Some here are 'Lego puriests' who do no modding, decals, etc. They combine and use pieces from Lego alone, while many of us do the combo.

Good luck in your adventure on learning about customizing and finding the path you like the best! Either way, there is tons to glean from here in the Armory and watching what others create!
