Hey, I am new here and just wanted to introduce myself and add some questions here also that some of you may be able to pm me the answer(s) too, since this is an introduce yourself area, I think the pm would be best.

Anyways, back on topic.

My name is Jason and I am about to be 25 in June.
I enjoy the "Castle" type legos and accessories. I am actually in the process of building a custom "Region" and "Army".

The region is going to be around 2000 x 2000 "In lego spaces".
The army will have a minimum of 100 soldiers, and I am using some of the equipment from "BF". Helmets, and what not.

There is a castle in the center type area with a moat, and houses, black smiths, trees, mountains etc. Around it. I am going to expand it though because I want to make it even bigger!

I love the "Hoplite Helmets" and the "Officer Plumes".
That is what most of the army and soldiers around the region are going to be wearing. I have to get a few pieces at a time, since 2012 is coming, I am prioritizing my money towards the "Apocolypse" lol. Anyways, but a few pieces here and there, and hopefully it will all add up quickly.

I enjoy the "Custom" army more so than the bought armies. Because you put your own ideas into it. I am even in the process of making white flags with black crosses "Tuetonic Knights" in a way.
But with different helmets. Such as above said "Hoplites, and others that I have in my collection. All will be black, and the King will have a white officer plume and his officers will have red officer plumes."

Anyways, I am on the PSN with JUGGALO-1986 as my name, if any of you have PS3.

I spend my free time playing games and customizing legos and creating things. I collect swords and fire arms and all that. I prefer a blade though.

Hey mate, good to have you here, and scientists (or whatever people who study ancient languages are called) say that they may have been years off in their calculations because of...something that's probably seemingly important to them but really doens. Doesn't mean humans can't manage to mess everything up before 2012 anyways.

The Mayan calendar stopping at 2012 doesn't mean the world will end, it just means that they were cross-eyed and couldn't see to finish.

On the weapons discussion, I personally favour a long arm, rifle or period equivalent, with a Sword Bayonet.
That gives you the best of both worlds?
