If you don't have Brasso, but have GoJo it works really well too.

I have found that Motsenbocker's Lift Off Tape Remover works really well. Just use it on a paper towel, not a cloth.

Hmmm... I have two cans of NeverDull... I wonder if that would work as well (it's a metal polisher, similar to Brasso, but IMO works better for polishing: When I was in the Navy, we used it on the ship's brass work that had been exposed to salt spray for weeks on end, and it would clean it right up)... I just got the Toy Story Trash Compacter Escape set (mostly for the "industrial" bricks), and would like to remove the splotches from the Alien heads that come with the set (I use the Aliens in my Post-Apoc setting to represent, well, Aliens)...

I'm not familiar with the brand, but hopefully you'll test it on crap pieces to make sure results are similar with brasso.

Well, I'm going to use it on some of the "Dirty" pieces from the Trash Compacter Escape, since, IMO, those are useless anyways with the printed-on dirt.... I'll be sure to post the results. You see, where I could see NeverDull being useful is the fact that, while a metal-polishing agent like Brasso, it comes in tins of pre-soaked cotton batting, meaning that it would potentially be good for removing unwanted details as opposed to the entire design...

UPDATE: Just tried out the NeverDull on the "dirty" version of the Woody torso from 7596 "Trash Compacter Escape", and it worked like a charm! My guess about the pre-soaked cotton batting being good for removing part (but not all) of the design was accurate.... As a matter of fact, with a little skill, you could get almost literally pinpoint accuracy with it. The only caveat is that NeverDull uses petroleum distillates and leaves an oily residue on the surface. This, however can be taken care of by dabbing some liquid hand soap onto the piece and rinsing it off under warm water.

Well, I used a fig for testing my Sculpey weapons and the fig kinda looks cruddy now.
