Every now and again I draw. Looking around the forum I noticed minifig artwork and thought I have a shot at it.

Here's the first, based on an upcoming creation:

C&C is always appreciated.

Very nice! I like your style, not unlike mine. That bit of stetchyness left brings out the drawing true nature!

I think you mean sketchiness... although I prefer using the computer for colour shading. I hate using colour pencils.

Erm, yes. Sketchiness... But nice style anyway!

I just recognized that your SM armor with pauldrons is in the drawing.

Very nice! I was a little curious how you got the colors to pop so nicely. I was thinking either markers or computer! can't wait to see some more drawings!

Wow, cool! I use Prismacolor markers to make the colors pop, and it leaves a really even color. Make sure that you get them on sale however, they are too much on regular price!

this guy is Great!
I love the seriousness in his face, and you did a great job with his size and all. Good stuff, can't wait to see your next piece!

Another soldier - this time I experimented with highlighting, shadows, and, well... femininity.

I think it's just the eye lashes that make it female though.

Very nice artwork. I like both styles.
