Daughter of the late space explorer - Udmin Demrah.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This planet was founded for the simple study of the twin moon's and the red soil's effects on it's vegetation and weather.
The original explorers became the small settlement founders; each settling in a different region to expand their studies and knowledge base.
The natural electrical current in the air of this planet made it ideal to have in depth studies of biotics within the plant's natural environment, and eventually it's inhabitants, and the chemical changes in the second generation of people of families with a lifetime of planet exposure.
Udmin Demrah was the brave explorer who delved into the depths of the swamps and marshes, facing peril of hungry animals and finding ruins of a long ceased people group.
Intrigued by this find, he spent his later adult and twilight years researching, recording, and contemplating what happened to the people before - and if it meant warning for the new colonies and growing cities they had founded.
Leirani, grew up helping her father and his work, while aiding her mother, Lirrev, in caring for the animals and learning, cataloging, and managing their growing native animal collections. It was during those early years that they began to notice Leirani's reaction to electricity - and it's response to her.
She grew at the normal pace of most children, but she appeared younger and more 'atune' to the weather and its place on the planet.
With time, several older children were found to be similar, and so they were used as a controlled study group - and encouraged to work with technology and their knowledge of natural biotics was formed.
