Well, there is definitely an interest in starting a game, let's figure out what we need to know. This post will be updated as we figure stuff out.

Know:
-Traditional alignment system (Lawful, Neutral, or Chaotic/Good, Neutral, or Evil)
-Hawkxs to DM
-3.5e
-Setting courtesy of hawkxs

Need to know:
-Players and their roles in the party
-Client (how will we play the game)

Edition - if I DM it's 3.5 and I'll walk everybody through character creation. Setting will be Alanmark, my campaign world, and I can put details up if needed.

If I play, I have no preference as to setting, but I guess I'd rather play 3.5 because I'm more familiar with it.

I think 3.5e would be easiest since the site Hawkxs listed has it all in one place and I'm lazy.

As for players, I'm still reading the rules, give me a bit.

Personally, I'd be fine with 3.5e, I'd need to read up a little, but it's OK, especially because of all the shiny prestige classes. We'll need a little input from everyone else interested though, so no update on edition yet. Do you want to DM, hawkxs?

Looks like the real deal, we'd have to consult hawkxs, though.

Oh, hey, once we figure out who's playing, we might want to potentially have party roles (healer, meatshield, dps, ect.)

I would be up for 4E, 3.5, Pathfinder or Iron Heroes <_<;;

I can DM, just give me a few days to get everything up and together - and what sort of background do you guys as players want? Obviously maps and the like, and I guess depending on circumstances with races and classes and such we can decide what other stuff I need to put up.

And that character sheet is the real 3.5e one, but only the first page; he's got the second up too though. I should be able to find editable pdfs or doc files for them too if that's easier.

Houston, we have a problem. There's no info on experience, leveling, or character creation on Hypertext. Not quite sure how we can work around that, seeing as hawkxs is the only person amongst us with 3.5e, as far as I know.

mmkay. I have a whole thing written up on character creation somewhere, and if I can find it that's fixed. xp and levelling are pretty much handled by the DM so there's that - and I can scan the relevant pages of the DM guide for the level-up table.

Lemme find it, if I don't then I'll make another one or find one elsewhere on teh interwebs.
