December Challenge - "A Bad Day": Create a scene where your main character is in an unfortunate predicament. Ideas include: being ambushed, theft of personal property, receiving very bad news, etc...
Secondary Challenge: Create or introduce a different species/creature. Some good examples have been provided previously, but this will help you flesh out your definition of the galaxy.
