I used Plastruct for my Stikfas, made a nice weld.

Any must haves, or must knows, when it comes to Lego stuff? So many things I've seen I want to try!!

I am making it my goal to post a modified BF something by Sunday... You've got me going miniC, I was gifted with some belts in my orders that might be first. {:D

Has anyone here tried any of the China knockoff minifigs you see all over Ebay? I've had good luck so far- I bought:

TMNT- 4 turtles, Splinter, and Shredder. Awesome set, good quality... only defects were two bandanas that the print went over a bit on. Easily remedied with an exacto. I got the 6 pc set (shipped) for the price of one of the turtles on Bricklink.

Lantern Corps- 8 pc set of different colored Lanterns, everything but purple for Star Sapphire, and orange for Larfleeze. The heads and hair are for the most part weak, but the prints are pretty amazing. Also the bonus of nothing even close from Lego. Again, the whole set shipped in for the price of a trademarked GL on Bricklink.

To me, this is an awesome opportunity to expand my fig range, and have cheap bodies to experiment on. I also think it may (hopefully) spark TLG to take another look at a few things...

Since this is a place of Lego-compatable accessories, I was wondering what y'alls take on these figs was.

I haven't looked on eBay in a while for minfig parts. Are you sure they are 'knockoffs' or part of the Collection Series, which are not of the same plastic quality as those found in most sets?

Yeah... point there.

I posted something about this on the BrickLink forum- total outrage!!! "How could you?! TLG! Licensed products! Money out of our Lego-Baron pockets!!!" |D

Okay, so the pics are bad, but i wanted to post Something using more BrickForge elements...

The Green Team robot sidekick from Galaxy Squad is the only robot of the 3 in the line to not come with a jetpack or big fancy gun. As a result, this means this minifig deserves a better set up than the other two... so hopefully, this serves.

Also, I don't know how to insert pics, so if someone could help this forum newbie, please...

I must say, that, first of all, I'm a fan of that bot, it's a little blurry, but I like the silhouette. Second of all, to insert, view the picture. See the little circle with the speech bubble? Hit it. There's a option for BBC code, click it, then pick the size you want your picture to be from the scrolling list, then copy the provided text and past it into your post. Ta-da!

One tip I have would be to support your camera, even If you want to tilt it. Fid something about the right height if you're looking for elevation, a cereal box, a stack of manga, whatever works for you, but it really helps with the blur. :)

I can't wait to see more from you.

Insert an image can be done two ways:
I use the 'full editor' and the 'img' tab. It will place the code to see the image, You insert the URL for the image page between the code blocks ... i.e., [ img ] url goes here [ /img ] (No Spaces)
I try to keep the images I list down to around 4x3" 100dpi

Or you can link it with the 'URL' tab ...

Hope that helps

I don't have flickr, so I wasn't able to see the links. :(

I've posted a few things- only one has BF elements, but it's a start that I've actually taken some pictures. I have alot more going ( and With BF goodness), but I really need to set up some sort of photo booth. These pics are a little sloppy, but at least it gives the idea...

First is two builds from the BioTron theme- one is just a small probe/bot that goes nicely with a minifig. The second is more of an unmanned recon/ fighter deal. Both could also fold right into one of my micro fleets for maximum usage. The bigger one has two BF trans neon green tasers as engine components, a lens piece as the eye/cockpit, and maverick hair on the fig.

The second is double duty build- bot or micro, consisting mostly of purple MegaBlok elements.

I really like the second BioTron build, very reminiscent of the dropships from StarCraft and Aliens. The other builds came out quite well also.

Do you mind if borrow the main segment of the first BioTron build as hips for a mecha? I've never seen those robot arms used like that before.

Space Marine- not at all, we're all building together!

I'm hoping to get a pic or two up of the dropship one in blacklight.
