The first anti-gravity generator and emitter is invented by a wheelchair-bound scientist looking for a better mobility solution. This is the alpha prototype, version zero.

Unit with a test subject demonstrating the controls. At this stage of development the hoverchair can only hold 150 lbs, hover at 5 feet, move at a maximum of 1 mph, and operate for about 10 miles between charges.

The user is basically strapped into the unit at this point. This drawback will be fixed in the next version.

Used Bruce for this as he was my only together minifig. I do have others but I'm not ready to show those off yet.
This is the first in a series of limited building. Basically one set with some minor revisions.
I have 4 hand drawn pages from my late younger brother that he made that I'm basing this off of.
Thank you brother, 28 is too young to go.

You might think about using clear studs to give your hovers the appearance of lift for pics too, just an thought I had when I looked at these again.

Hoverchair Beta prototype version 0.5 was released to a limited market for live testing. There were many improvements in this version. The most notable are an increase in power and an actual area to sit on. The user still has a safety belt just in case.

One of the beta testers experimenting with the stick controls and the computer touch screen. The hoverchair is controlled in the same way one would steer a bicycle or motorcycle. To his left is a safety bar. At the rear is a balance caster. The hoverchair need not be in constant contact with the ground but it is recommended at this stage of development. Some may think of this as a step backward and defeats the "hover" part of the hoverchair. The developer assures that for now the caster is necessary. The unit can hold 250 lbs, hover at 5 feet(awkwardly), move at 5 mph, and has a 25 mile range.

Bruce makes his final appearance. Can anyone guess the set yet? Here's a hint the computer screen has nothing to do with it. It was the first one I grabbed, looked good, so I used it.

Dr. Cranston, the inventor of the hoverchair creates a company to sell them, Hov-Co.
Hov-Co announces the first public hover-chair models.
With four different models to choose from including custom variations Hov-Co promises to have the perfect hover-chair for your needs.

-The base model, V 1 seen at the bottom of the picture is able to hold 500 lbs, rise to a height of 10 feet, at 10 mph, for 100 miles per charge.
-At the top is model V 1.7, the second most requested model, has a seat back. Everything else is exactly the same as the V 1.
-What has been unofficially dubbed "The Racing Chair", V 1.5 is a 500 lb, 100 ft clearance, 100 mph, 50 mile range speed demon designed with micro maneuvering jets and double stick controls. This model is seen to the left of the picture.
-In the center of the image is the stable and sturdy V 1.6. Capable of holding a whopping 750 lbs of rider or accessories due to its 3 antigrav emitters, a modest 70 ft clearance, and 70 mph maximum speed. It only has a 50 mile range between charges, but some concessions were necessary.
-Off to the right is an example of a custom order. V 1.6-p was designed for law enforcement. This unit combines the speed and maneuverability of a V 1.5 and the stability and accessory options of a V 1.6. It has an impressive 875 lb limit with its 3 emitters, along with a 85 ft clearance, 85 mph, 75 mile range.

I'm not big on the sets that have the vehicle/computer displays ... so sadly, I have no clue. If I were to guess ... I'd guess from one of the 'flight' kits ...
