Which Arms look the best on SM figs?
My next order depends on this!

lol ... man that's a wide open question

It all depends on the overall effect you want with your Space Marines. Do you want contrast or blending?
I have some of both, but I lean towards having the gloves, belt, visor, weapons, & maybe boots be the contrast ... because I like the torso & sleeves to match the armor. I do like the vambrances too ...
Of course, doesn't mean you can't have a mix either ... ... ugh!!

My vote: I really really like the white glove & vambrance, I also really like the green vambrance on the black sleeve & glove ... but, I would say ... make a set like the purple one, and then sets like the others!!! Seriously, that's what I've done

i prefer the black arms/cambraces combo, it gives them a more armor plated feel, which is what spartan-II/space marines are, armored, usualy with-um, where was I? oh right, personaly, black arms with whatever color of Powered Assault Commando you want

Personally, I'm not quite sure why you're asking this question. Aren't Legos all about creativity? If you're taking other people's ideas, yours aren't really original. I'd choose which one you like best, after all, they're your Space Marines.

Yes, Lego is about creativity, but tell me a time when you didn't want a little constructive criticism, or wanted someones opinion on how something looked? He's asking a simple question about our opinions on a small detail, not about how to do the whole thing. There is absolutely no problem in that!

Now, as for my opinion: I think black arms with Color vambrace+Same colored hand look great. (IE: White; Option 4)

^Very true CB, sorry Zachy. I think the black arms/coloured vambraces look cool. Then again, it would be pretty cool to do a SM-colour arm, SM-coloured vambrace and a black hand. That's just me though.

lol ... that's the hard part isn't it ... they ALL look great and have many options ...
Thus why I've ended up having several collections of them ... one straight color on like the purple one, another with more mixed variances that I like - and a rep in each BF armor in that series, and of course now the ones I'm painting ... I tell you ... the ideas never end ...

You will find you're using the wrong purple. The Purple SM Armour is designed to match the LEGO colour Purple, but that arm is Dark Purple. I had the same problem. As for the actual arm design, I use colour arms, colour vambrces (black if not available in that colour) and black hands.
