Angry DwarfSmith replies to Angry Customer

Angry Customer:
I would like a refund on the additional amount my son paid to have his order shipped faster than regular delivery. His order was placed on 4/21 and shipped on 4/22. With one to three day service we should have had the package at the latest on Monday according to your timeframe listed on the website of 1 to 3 days. We have already received our mail today and it has not arrived. If you would please let me know the amount you are crediting my account I would appreciate it.

ADS:
Dear Customer,
Thank you for contacting us.
The USPS does not guarantee delivery within that time frame:

Per our policy we do not reimburse shipping costs for delayed parcels:

Angry Customer
USPS may not guarantee delivery but you website shows delivery in 1-3 days. It does not clearly state while ordering that you aren't responsible for delays. What HORRIBLE customer service. We will certainly NOT be ordering from you site in the future and will advise others to steer clear of your company.

Dear Customer,
We are sorry that BrickForge did not live up to your expectations. If it were possible for our company to deliver our products directly into your hands with guaranteed service we would most certainly do so. However this is hardly economical for us to do so. This is why we rely on a third party (United States Postal Service) to deliver parcels on behalf of our customers. They do not guarantee their services, which makes it impossible for us to guarantee. Even if we did guarantee their services - and refunded all tardy shipments - we would be out of business much sooner than accumulating a handful of poor references. We have looked into offering shipping options from FedEX and UPS, however; shipping fees are out of reach for most of our customers. All of this is explained in our FAQ and Shipping Policies - something we find are commonly neglected by younger persons placing orders on our website.

Truly. What really astounds me is how moronic and unreasonable that person acted. Horrible customer service due to something out of your hands? That's like BF getting hit by a meteor, being unable to deliver a single parcel to one person, and that person turns around, scorning you. Well, just know there are many good customers who appreciate your service, unlike that one, BF co.! :{)

Sadly, there are those who don't "think" about what they've order, about distance, or delivery options.
Very nicely handled ADSmith, nicely handled.
And as TSol has stated, there are many Many very happy BF customers out there. BF does a fantastic job!! ;D

Angry customer is quite angry. I feel this is an issue he/she should have brought up to his/her USPS office though. It's quite possible that the postal center simply wasn't open. I know quite a few postal centers that do close down for weekends in my general vicinity.

LOLz!!!

At least he didn't try to count Sunday! USPS does not shut down completely on Saturdays, but they certainly SLOW down for the weekend. I have to say, BF has the BEST customer service I've come across online. I order from MANY website for anything from import anime, models, toys, clothes, movies, legos, etc. And BF has always replied quickly, accurately, and the products are either exactly as I expected from pictures and descriptions or better! And if I'm not satisfied, for any reason, they've got a solution every time!
