I hope I'm not stepping out of line by double posting here, but I've just got a shipment of BF Gladiator Helmets and Gladiator Masks, and I have discovered that the Gladiator Helm & Mask combo DOES, in fact, work quite well with the Battle Armor.... Looks extremely awesome as well... I'll be posting some pics of the results in the Artisan's Gallery fairly soon (The minifigs are still being customized).

Reason why I said no was cuz the mask is bent up a bit by the armor. Anything like that is a no in my book. :P

Really? I guess it does, but it's so little as to be virtually unnoticeable (well, maybe if I measured it with a micrometer....;))

Correct me if this is unrelated or has already been discussed, but I have an issue with the Great Helm not being compatible with ANY armor :(

I read the Flickr post and I think the replies are accurate. You must have a defect or something because your picture looks fine and I have never had a problem with my own. Also, BF makes a conscious effort to keep their products compatible with each other as well as what Lego makes as much as possible.

Ok I rescind my complaint about the Great Helm! When I switched the minifig head it fit. But I also ran into a very puzzling "issue". I built 2 figs with identical parts, but when I put Great Helms on their heads one figure had a gap between the bottom of the helm while the other had none... :p Both helms were pushed down all the way.
But thats a minor issue...
Still a fantastic part :D
